Fail and make it count

Always keep in mind why did you get involved in business. Look for your emotional motivators because those are real. We are emotional. We do not take decision based upon logic. We try to make it  looks like logic is determinant which moves us but opposite is true.

Be aware of your emotion and keep working hard. Devote to your goal and do not fear to fail.

"Logic doesn t motivate us, says Siebold" who launched 5 unsuccessful business before he started his current consulting company. Be honest with yourself. Siebold  s motivator no. 1 was to become millionaire, a goal he achieved at 31.

Many people want many things but what really matter is what do you really want to and how badly do you want it.

...make your choice, now.

There is always only one way, which is yours

It s two day before my first exams to school and I am sitting at the bed, watching Seth Goding talking about his new book and thinking about many stuff in my head. There is thought that I should go learn, there is thought that I should go improve my business, there is thought about going to sport and many others. I am just curios what is going on...

Sometimes it is really hard to realize what is in our head. But we have to have clear otherwise we start breaking things down around us. When I am watching Seth talking about vulnerability of people, being stuck at jobs thinking how great it is, I know exactly what he is talking about. I mean I am right in the middle of it. Why it is so hard take your card and put it on table? I understand that we do not want to do things because it does not feel safe. Of course I have great job where I make solid money which gives me freedom but it s still just job. People (customers) I work for they do not value it. At opposite site when I am working on my biz, I feel that people care and support us. And I believe that my biz on long run ll be great but why I want to achieve everything quickly?

Why we are afraid to take the step forward and make the rapid change in our life? Why it feels so uncomfortable but somewhere in heart right.

Good thing about this is that I am aware of it but the hardest part is to decide...

We Underestimate Networking, Do You?

There are many describitions of networking. However how do you perceive networking? Do you use networking enough for yourself and your company benefit. Everybody knows what does it mean to network. But what I think we do not use great potention of it.

Networking:“The process of developing and activating your relationships to increase your business, enhance your knowledge, expand your influence or serve the community.”

There is so huge power within of networking that many of us understimate. We think that when we talk to someone we network. But I would disagree, that is just first step, it is just beginning. Networking is about creating relationship with other side. When one activate relationship it is more powerfull, pro active attitude. It is basic rule of influence, that first we have to give and create feeling of reciprocity inside of other side. Do not wait for first step, just do it. If you want to succeed you have to enhance your relationship, it is always two way highway. People who network like this I am sure will show better result.

To be successful networker you have to understand that it is really about helping others as way of growing your business. People you help are more willing to help you or connect you to people they know.

I think that in the middle of crisis or whatever we go through, networking is the great way how to build strength in your business. We all want to do business with people, we trust and know. A lot of people think about networking like direct selling but there is difference. With networking you create relationship. Direct selling is not about creating relationship. So how often do you network and what strategy do you use?

"You can try to connect with me :) at beginning"

More Mean Less

Today when you check out from window you see rain and you can feel that cold weather is getting closer. I was getting cold so I decided to make a tea. I like tea so I decided to go to cupboard and take one.

When I opened cupboard I have seen big selection of teas. I took my favorite apple and cinnamon but next to it was some other passion fruit, next was some green, black, wellness...

After while I was so confused that I end up with no tea at all. Is not it funny? I had such a taste at beginning but when I was facing so big option it made me feel confused regarding of my choice. What has happened?

I decided to browse web a little bit. I typed tea/ caj into google and pressed search. It was not good idea. Option which popped out I would say it was huge, I mean selection, I almost got headache. It was complicated to orient on web page. I do not recommend :)

"I was thinking what they communicate to me"
I understand that we want to feel freedom of choice however I did not feel good at all. "I believe that instead of offering huge variation of teas (or other product) they should focus to be more authentic, be more open, trying to talk to us, engage us. They should give us feeling that we are part of something."

Next time when you will be facing huge option, just think about what they want you to say. Do they want you to feel good, inspired or do they just want you to buy and they do not care about you...

Challenge Vs Security

It has been a while I have not posted anything here. It has reason why I did not do it. I have been working and cooperating with my partner (Martin Filo) on our small biz (service we run for people) Debnickari.

It has been several years ago I decided to become entrepreneur. So I decided to do everything I can. I was reading books, was listening all kinds of inspirational literature, studying blogs, forums, working..

I was a dissapointed because I found out that entrepreneurs were starting in early age. But I was thinking "I did not" and in my head there was a voice which was telling me: "Can I do that?" Where I could learn that because I could not realize what to do...

It is exactly a reason why I decided to leave a country for 1 year, because I felt that I need more information, more knowledge to launch something. I can say that my staying in USA for 1 year was a great experience but I already understand that there is nothing that can teach you to be an entrepreneur.

What are my thoughts since I have started:

  • When you have job, you feel secured that your paycheck most likely come certain day each month. And now I understand that feeling of security is the one of the biggest drive in human behavior. Would you like to know how I feel? I would say "confused" because you work but there is no guarantee that you will earn. But I understand that feeling, it helps me go over...
  • Working time- I think everything matters on you. You work how much you want. Of course I can say myself, just take a break, go out, have fun…but there is one thing you have to realize. When you do not work, there is nobody else who work.
  • Free time- It is not like you come back from work and you can just relax. I feel more like every second I have time I want to think about what we can improve but what can be done more efficient
  • We just started but I realize that we carry big responsibility to people we serve, it takes a lot emotional preparedness

That is so far my feeling since we have started. But there is one thing I really love about it. You work on your own, it means you feel autonomy, you can use your creativity and you try to master something you work on. And when you can do service for people and they will appreciate you with smile at their face, that is really reward because you feel that kind emotion and you are full of desire to work and grow.

So what would you prefer more? Stable paycheck, good life and no risk or ...
